Snowin' Outside... will it stay??

SNOW. Will it stay???-- that is the question. I love the change of seasons, but truly have postponed all that I need to do to be prep'd for winter.
  • Toys are still in my backyard, need to be put away.
  • Front deck has boots and garbage on it, now covered in snow, need to be put away.
  • Garage needs to be emptied-- items moved to shed or garbage so I can park in there.
  • Remote car starter won't work-- can't live without it & we lost the 2nd set of keys with starter back in May, haven't gone in to the dealership to order new ones.
  • Windows to be cleaned--(& we should of painted them and the deck but I guess all that will be a 2007 project .)
  • Leaves in piles on driveway and lawn, need to be put away.
  • Trailer-- has been winterized, but just sitting on the street, again-- needs to be put away.
  • Lots more stuff-- but truly making a list just makes me tired & semi-stressed/depressed.

I'm sure the snow won't last, but for the companies up here involved in Oil and Gas it needs to get cold so things start to move. Our little company needs to be busy -- enough said. Again it will stress me out & Scott can stress about that, I'll worry about the house & kids stuff.

Here is my latest page, just a montage of pix from 2005. I must say it did take a long time to hand stich every page. I wanted it to feel like a yummy warm quilt, but not quite sure if it is what I had hoped for. Am relieved it is finished and a wonderful opportunity to look back on what a great year 2005 was. One of our Best. This year is good too..... Can't wait to see what 2007 brings (my 2 top picks: a healthy baby & a new home???!)

Journalling says:

2005. We expanded our family—welcoming Berkeley Saige to our home. Mom finished work at the Leisure Centre and found herself in a new full-time role at home. Dad continued to grow his business adding new trucks and employees to his corporation (thankfully the Office Manager didn’t mind a sometimes crazy home office).

Lots of trips and travels to spend time with family: outings to Waterton, the cabin in Montana, horsey rides and playing with the kitties at Grandmas. Reunion with girlfriends—each with babies only 1 month apart. Swim time with our water babies. Celebrating Tagg’s 2nd Birthday (where did the time go?). 1st visit to the Edmonton Zoo.

A frightening Halloween (NOT) “Trunk or Treating” in the church parking lot with a Dalmatian & a Pony in tow. Mommy’s little helper, always pulling up a chair to be part of the action. As parents we rediscovered the joy of Christmas as we watched Tagg anticipate the countdown till Santa. His excitement to help daddy cut down a tree and decorate it; sleepless nights waiting, and of course Christmas Morning—pure magic.
