Getting out of the COLD!!
Friday, October 27, 2006
Tonight I am up finishing a few cards for the scrap store. They turned out cute-- I love making cards...There is no right or wrong. You make a mistake.... Who cares. A few I made a big mess of but looking at them now, I can't remember what I did wrong and can't even choose which is my favorite. Love them all. The store gave me 3 pieces of pattern paper & 2 cardstocks, 2 ribbons and a couple of ivy leaves. the rest of the stuff is just odds and ends I have. I only wish I could get them back before Christmas. Now I need to go buy more papers so I can remake them. Had a fun day with the kiddies and girls from church. We usually meet every other Wed for lunch and gab time. Kids run in the gym or play games, each of us take turns entertaining and supervising them. They have a great time together--as do the adults. So thanks to everyone who came out. It was the highlight of my week. (& Stephanie made the best homemade buns to share.....warm and yummy-- Wait then there were Suzannes hot chocochip cookies.....See why I love going all the great treats!) Berkeley was so tired the whole time she just cried--she was so excited to climb into her carseat when we left--fell asleep before we even left the parking lot. I hope everyone is doing good-- All my prego sis's and Sis-in-Laws still feeling prego... just like me. I've been having a hard time the past few days. Nothing fits, I am uncomfortable, kids are crazy, I stay home for a few days...(reason perhaps that kids are crazy-- can't get mom out of the house). I really do blame it on the change in weather here. When it first drops COLD (snowed here last week) I like to stay bundled up warm in my house. Thankfully the sun came up yesterday and melted all the snow. If it could just stay nice a few more days I have a few things I need to finish up with the yard, clearing out the shed and garage, emptying and cleaning up our trailer..... my list could go on and on and on. Hopefully we'll get 1 or 2 things done....we'll see how we're feeling and how well mother nature cooperates.
