Thoughts on American Thanksgiving weekend....

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American (and American-wanna-bees) Family and Friends. Hope you had a wonderful weekend and caught some great deals on Black Friday.
This American Thanksgiving I've been thinking a lot about how blessed we are. Our life is so simple, full of such ordinary, mundane things. That is what brings me joy. Simple things like the craft Tagg "surprises" me with each day from preschool; Berkeley's funny little laugh (& the fact that she is finally talking); Forrest, so sweet and innocent,-- the feeling I have when I hold him as his protector, teacher & nurturer.
So here are a few pictures of those who bring us the most joy. Our kids.
Don't think that we are this cute little family full of sunshine and kisses. Not us, not with 3 kids, 4yrs and under. Our house is crazy--lots of messes and luvs, crazy, noisey, laughter and crying, hitting and toys thrown across the house (our house is very small so this is quite literal). But under all this CHAOS is a quiet melody that plays everyday. One of love. One of trust. One of happiness. One of joy.

Tagg on one of his first days of Preschool.
Berkeley helping make supper.
(We made homemade biscuits, flattened them into muffin tins. Then added BBQ hamburger to each cup, and topped it with grated cheese. Easy to make. Fun little project together, even if neither of my kids would try it)

Berkeley's laugh!

Forrest's favorite playtime.

Unloading all the playdough toys, cereal, and everything else from the cupboard.

Playing outside.

Berkeley and Forrest wearing their Halloween shirts from Grandma Helen (thx). {can't believe how similar these 2 look}

Holds on to laundry baskets, chairs....whatever to push as he walks around the house.
