Cheeese!

Here are a few pix to share of our week

Firstly, FOOD. I said I would post a picture of my fave low point treat.
These little babies only have 1pt for 6 crackers. Growing up my girlfriend Tami would always have them in her lunch. Who knew they were actually good for you. I lather them with a little mustard, sliced meat, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce... whatever & there you have a great meal for low points.

Forrest giggling, he is already 14lbs and growing. Found his little voice and loves to coo and smile.
Last night the kids had the most fun in the bath. I took some liquid hand soap, added a few drops of food coloring, mixed it up with a sponge brush & voila, bath paints. (thanks Rachel Ray)

Here is our Family Home Evening activity. Some people have these elaborate plans, not us. What is it you ask?? Well we talked about families and being nice (always our theme). I had bought a box of Monster foam stickers at Michael's the other day-since Tagg is always telling stories of Monsters (think a mix of Sesame Street and Monsters Inc) so we stuck our monster family on our paper. Tagg had names for every monster, mom, dad, Forrest, Berke, etc in fact some of these may be of you!! Can you find yourself??
a random unusually quiet moment at the Tollestrup house.
Berkeleys favorite playtime lately--- Pulling out every bowl, pan, lid for her band. Today she and Tagg played a LOUD rendition of "twinkle twinkle" & "jingle bells" for Scott & I. Complete with symbols (pot lids), Maracas (baby rattle) & drums. I even got to be the lead singer. WE ROCKED!!!!
Tagg always asking me, "please mom can I hold my cute baby brother Forrest?" He only lasts about 15sec then Forrest is laying sideways or on his face. But for those15sec he is the kindest, gentlest big brother. Amazing- especially when you see him the rest of the day. not always so gentle(--hey Berkeley??) Here is our backyard. You've probably heard me ranting about the snow. I am so tired of it. Finally it is melting. The kids were playing in our puddles, notice how much more snow is still left to melt. I haven't seen the grass since middle of OCT. But the kids had so much fun outside in their sandbox, jumping in puddles {Berke fell -- was wet and freezing, and wouldn't come in. When I finally took off her boots they were FULL of water. No wonder she is snot-nosed now), running around the yard, climbing the hills of snow, throwing rocks in the puddles, banging the puddles with a plastic mallet. Amazing how a much fun kids can have in a cold, wet backyard.

Forrest Easter morning
Our Easter morning (actually monday morning, the day after, since I didn't want the kids to have chocolate before 9am church). This year they got a new outfit, a little toy & lots of chocolate. Notice their chocolate faces. I let them down the chocolate till they were either sick of it or it was gone. I think "sick of it" won because these 2 Chocolate-freaks, who always ask for chocolate kisses or cookies, or candy bars.... haven't asked for a chocolate treat in the past week.

(Notice how long Berkes hair is, we have to put it up everyday so she can see, somedays she even brings me the comb. Can't wait till it is long enough to go behind her ears)

Playing at the indoor playground

Berkeley had about 5 dolls litle plastic dolls she was rotating thru with her hugs & loves, to bed, and burps cycle. Too Cute!

so much fun this week at your house. I can't believe how old your kids are looking. Tagg looks like he's growing tall and is thin. You're such a great mom to let the kids pull out the pots and pans, etc and play band. I love and miss you all.

Wow! what a fun time during my lunch break to view your blog and the awesome pics. The highlight of my day. The kids are so cute. What a fun mom you are. (mud adventures are not always a fun thing to cleanup after & the soap painting looks like the perfect thing for kids) Tyson has spent most of his life playing in the mud. Great memories.Luv ya,
