The snow is starting to melt. It is incredible that there is still so much here, while in other places (so.ab) they are enjoying tulips and the sweet smell of spring. Us, we are starting to defrost like stale old popcicles, I am actually afraid of what is under the snow in our back yard.... we sometimes throw our garbage in a dumpster behind out place, it belongs to a Senior Citizens Manor who maybe have a little grocery bag of garbage for the week. Well one of the occupants there, an older gent; feels it is his duty to ensure that only the Seniors who live there access their dumpster; which means he throws any garbage we've put in that dumpster back in our yard. Yup. A new meaning to dumpster diving. I wonder how sometimes as a garbage full of wet soggy diapers is awfully heavy. But we'll see a garbage bag in our yard, sometimes it is ours, sometimes not. I thought I saw one under the snow the other day.... bet it has been there since Oct. Yikes. good thing it is frozen.
We had a nice visit with my dad this weekend. Thanks Jim for your visit. The kids were so excited, Tagg called him "my best buddy grandpa". Berkeley played shy most of the time, with her arm & hands covering her face. But after a bit of coaxing and playing she finally warmed up. It was a great excuse to go out for supper, minus the kiddies. He was shocked by how much snow we have here. I kinda forget that it is spring (even summerlike) for most other people. Here we are still celebrating Christmas with all our snow.
So hopefully Spring in on it's way....sadly, we'll have to wait & wade through all this snow & puddles before we can play outside....but summers here make it all worth the cold long winters. Wonderful long days that stay light till midnight. I love the summers--you definitely appreciate them after a winter like this year.
I am babbling, tis late, all 3 kiddies are sleeping --& I should get to sleep. 9am church tomorrow and getting all 3 dressed, ready, and reverent for church is a task that takes all my energy.

I'm impressed you're able to get all 3 ready, reverent, etc. for 9am church! We have 8:30 church and are late nearly every week!
Amy & Brad
Mo, thanks for the birth announcement and the thank you card. They were both so cute. Jim said Forrest is a good little baby. Hope we'll see him soon. Take care.
I hope you guys all defrost soon and can enjoy spring like weather. The only problem when that happens, you have lots to do to get the yard whipped into shape! (we've been doing it for a few wks) We're still not done, but close - just a few more plants to replace - surprising, but some got frozen! Ya, crazy. Glad that you had a fun visit with Dad. My kids are still talking about when he came! Love you guys!!
