Just holding down the fort, waiting for baby #3 to get here. I keep trying to tidy up and be all "prepped" just in case I have to leave in the middle of the day/night but nothing yet. I have my girlfriends cell # close by just in case (thanks Leslie)-- but still nothing. Oh well, just enjoying these days and times with the kiddies. I know that once I have this new baby, Berkeley will suddenly look and seem so much older, no longer my little one. So I have been cuddling and rocking her more the past few days then I probably should. She is already a little snuggle to me, and will have some sort of meltdown when suddenly a new baby comes home, needing a lot of attention.
Yesterday it was fun to see her with her little cousins. My dad and Brother Bryce/Lyndsi & Family came for a visit. Wish we could of planned it better--so we had more time together but it was nice to have family here for a couple hours. They drove the 6hrs from Red Deer, stayed for supper, switched vehicles, and headed home. Must of been a long day today. But so nice to feel a little love from home & family. It's been a while since we've had company. My kids were so excited (though Berkeley kept crying looking for momma) Tagg jumped on Grandpa Jim & Uncle Brycie. Loading them with loves and kisses. Gave me something more to think about than waiting for baby. They brought up some gifts and care packages from home. I was giggling about that, here we are in our mid-late 30s (WAIT ARE WE REALLY THAT OLD????~!!!!!??!?!?!? EEKS) and a care package from home is just as exciting as when we were 10yrs. Thanks to everyone for the little surprises. So wonderful.
Better get some sleep, won't be many more nights when I can try to catch a few peaceful hours....
