TOO COLD.

OK the inside of my house is turning into a frozen popsicle. We have a older home and on the inside of the windows there is a layer of ice; the door has a frozen hinge; the towel behind the door (too stop the cold air) is frozen in a L-shape; the plastic weather barrier on the basement windows are covered with ice...... WHY ARE WE HERE?? We are in the middle of a nasty plummeting cold spell. I think it is about the same throughout the province. In my books anything after -20 is just cold. That means 60% of my year is just COLD. I've been dreaming of selling everything and moving to a tropical island {some of you know I am half serious about this}. If we could work somewhere warm-- we are there. Even if we could work in the USA, we'd load up the kids and the trailer and live an an RV park for the year-- anywhere that is sunny.

I don't think my kiddies really care, they don't want to go out, but are happy eating popsicles with every meal *{in fact in lieu of lunch today-- we had a chocolate picnic on the floor--chocolate milk, chocolate pudding, chocolate popsicles & chocolate cookies......not a great score on the "healthy" eating, but a great score with the kids---& today thats what matters}

Luckily we are happy inside, not going too far. We've sent dad out for groceries so the rest of us can just stay bundled up warm. Forrest is a little sick, feverish --- just wants to be held; I'm sure it is teething again.; the other 2 are covered in chocolate & have been playing so great together (which is how I've been able to get something posted here). Thank goodness for their playroom, they've been busy putting on "shows", building stuff, the works. Now they are getting a little bored, better make some playdough or find something new to do before they wake baby....

Do you remember when we used to put on "shows"? How fun! Well, you can always come visit us in Texas even if you can't move here. We have an open door policy. You're welcome anytime! P.S.-have you ever made peanut butter playdough?

I'm excited for the days my kids can play together so i don't have to entertain them ALL day long! You should tape some of these shows and post them!!! YOur kids are so cute!
