Tagg & Berkeley

Such a love/hate relationship. Tagg always wants Berkeley close by, but the minute she gets into his stuff he is pushing, pulling, tackling her. We can tell him over & over "don't hit your sister" and still she is his getting plowed over. Other days all Tagg wants is Berkeley. For her every morning she wants Tagg, first thing-- laughing and giggling with him (until her first shove--attack of the morning, then she is a little more weary of him.) I have to remember he is only 2yrs. & is learning what it takes to be the big brother; somedays I think he'll never figure it all out, but other days when he is soft and luving her I am so relieved & proud. One day they'll be good friends (I just hope it is sooner, than later). I watched this cute family in church yesterday. Bro & Sis, Thomas & Whitney were pushing, pulling, bugging each other & they are in their teens--but you knew they loved each other & were good friends. I thought to myself, that is what I hope for with my kids.

So admist all the chaos, all the craziness, the constant push/pull syndrome.... there is hope. Thats all I need to remember.
