Happy 1st Birthday Berkeley

Can't believe our little girl is 1yrs old. We celebrated with a little party at the fairgrounds. Grandma Linda had whipped up a little supper for us all --no thanks to mommy---but a huge thank you Linda :) It was so fun to be together-- nothing major just family and friends. Scotty blew up balloons for the kids, they blew bubbles, enjoyed some sloppy joes & yummy birthday cake. Tagg has been talking about a party for weeks--months. He wanted "party hats" (which he wore the entire time), "big balloons", "goodie bags", "birthday cake", "hamburgers", "other people" so we had the party he's been dreaming of. Berkeley got lots of great surprises. Thank you to everyone for such wonderful gifts- dresses, shoes, books, doll, clothes, bears....

We've just be hanging out, not venturing too far away from home. Just how I like it. Tagg is having the best time. Always outdoors, playing in the water, on the tractor, petting the kitties & horsies. Today he even climbed 2 of grandpa's horses and had a ride bareback-- one with Brettan & the other by himself with Grandpa guiding him in the corral. Just giggling and going on. He sure is becoming a little person. Speaking of him---Check out his hair. Minutes before the party his Daddy got out the clippers and made my dear son look like a chemo patient. He said the guard slipped thus it got cut a little shorter than I expected---oh well. At first I was teary that his hair was gone, but what's a little hair???? Tagg loves his buzz cut & it will be perfect for the summer.

Sad that we missed the party with all our favorite people . . .Can't believe Berkeley is already 1! Where does the time go? It's so depressing, I've only met her once. That makes me cry. I guess it was a good thing we came at Christmas or we wouldn't even know her yet. We are hoping to see you all in July in Southern AB, and then hopefully we can get you down here to see us. . . you know, Vegas is a happnin' place these dayz! Love you so much Tollestrup Family. We love to read about all your excitment and journeys!!!!! Uncle Ryan, Auntie Sonia, Jax & Maddux :o)
